This tutorial will help you set up the Thunderbird e-mail client to work with your e-mail account.

To Set Up Your E-mail Account in Thunderbird

  1. In Thunderbird, select Tools > Account Settings.


  2. Press the 'Add Account' button.


  3. Select "Email account " and click Next.


  4. Enter your name and e-mail address.


  5. Select "POP" as the type of incoming server you are using. Your incoming server is mail.e-moxie.com. Click Next.


  6. Enter your e-mail address for the "Incoming User Name." Click Next.


  7. Enter an account description. Example: 'E-Moxie E-Mail' or 'Home E-Mail'


  8. Verify your settings then click Finish


  9. Click the Add Button


  10. Enter your SMTP server information. Select "Use name and password" and enter your e-mail address. Thunderbird will ask you for your password the first time you try to send mail. Click OK.


    NOTE: If you are have trouble sending mail using the above setttings your ISP may have block port 25. If that is the case change the Port setting to 26
